Sushma has over 20+ years of experience in the legal field as a lawyer and as a professor. Sushma is the Founder and Managing Partner of Legal Clarity Group, a boutique law firm based in New York that boasts a team of talented lawyers with extensive experience practicing at top domestic and international law firms and with a strong network of strategic alliances globally.  Taking from her experience founding specialized organizations and working with some of the most notable law firms and educational programs both domestically and internationally, Sushma’s vision for LCG is to be focused primarily on the Business and Immigration practice, representing US-based small to mid-size companies and individuals, as well as international companies that want to establish presence and scale in the United States. 

Sushma is additionally CEO & Chief Strategist of Core Clarity Consulting which specializes in crisis management, internal investigations, employee and other HR related policy and process setup.  Sushma has been recognized by the Marquis Who’s Who for her dedication to Business and Legal field in 2023 and Sushma was the chair of the Forbes Tech Council of New York for 2 years running.

Her prior experience includes serving as attorney with Shearman & Sterling LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Heading of professional legal education programs at CityU Hong Kong, Starting and Running a tech company in Silicon Valley for 7 years, and being the chair of the board along with being advisory board member of multiple companies.
